




Zürcher Kantonalbank
The Zürcher Kantonalbank has relied on me twice already. In 2017 for the integration of its new real estate search engine and in 2020 for the overall renewal of its corporate website.
For the recent relaunch, ZKB draw on plentiful of resources. Based on the new branding definition, a new corporate website was conceived and designed, its content totally re-created and re-written and the technical system developed from scratch.
I was assigned a double role. As an operational project manager as well as being responsible for the whole content. I initiated and managed the following tasks in chronological order:
Project management
- Account for transparent project documentation.
- Definition of a process for the creation of all content elements.
- Overall planning for all the involved teams, including dependencies and resource planning.
- Clarifying and defining content requirements with the design and technical teams.
- Determining marketing requirements.
- Sprint reviews with the developers, including support for the specifications and testing.
- Planning and staffing of publishing resources.
Quality insurance and definition of acceptance criteria. - Redirect management.
Complete publishing training and documentation Going live and stabilisation. - Handover to operation, including a Gap-Analysis.
Lead content-stream
- Familiarizing and taking over the design concept, in order to apply it for content creation with the editors.
- Documentation of all different page types and components.
- Analysis of the actual state and definition of an inventory for each part of the website.
- Definition of the editing and copywriting processes.
Planning of copywriting processes including weekly editorial sessions. - Requirements and information architecture workshops with business, for each topic/section on the website.
- Defining and conceiving a content structure for each topic based on the design concept.
- Asset management: imagery, and document production and organization, including a tagging concept.
- Accounting for the publishing stream including proofreading and approval to publish from the business.
- Collaboration and alignment with marketing for the campaigns.
In the previous project, I was supervising the conception, design, content creation and publishing phase.
This assignment has been acquired, supervised and handled, by me during my time as co-owner of Ratundtat GmbH. It was realized in cooperation with client-side teams, freelancers and own employers. The pictures displayed show the project during development.
